The Pittsburgh game should have funeral wear as as a requirement for attending if the browns are 0-15 by then.

Unless my math is wrong, if the Texans lose out and a few other things happen, the Browns could end up with as high as the #1 and #2 overall picks in the draft. -Browns of course can't win more than 1-2 games (no problem there) -Giants (2-11) have to win out to get to 5-11 (win vs. Eagles, Redskins, Cardinals) - not likely to happen. 4-12 might be enough if SOS works out over the Texans. -Colts (3-10) need to win at least two more games, and must beat the Texans week 17. They still have the Broncos, Ravens, and Texans, so this is definitely possible. -49ers (3-10)I believe have to win just one more game to get a worse pick than the Texans' due to SOS (Titans, Jaguars, Rams) - not sure if they can do it, but the Jags and Rams are likely to be resting starters for large portions of the game by the time they play. -Denver (4-9) needs to win one more game to have a higher pick than the Texans. They have the Colts, Redskins, and Chiefs lined up so I don't think they'll do it, but it's possible if the Chiefs are resting starters maybe. Assuming the Texans don't win another game, the Browns will definitely have the #1 and another pick around #5, as high as #2 but not likely. If the Texans somehow win out and get to 7-9 it would be a very Browns situation as the pick could drop into the low teens.

The Rams need to win out to guarantee the number 3 seed and if they lose this week to Seattle they have to win out to make the playoffs as a wildcard. I don't imagine there's a situation where they would sit starters against the 49ers unless they went up by 3 touchdowns in the 2nd half, but the 49ers are playing better and it's a NFC West divisional game.

I think the best thing for the Browns is to finish 0-16 so they can get rid of Hue. Kinda feels like that's the only way he's out the door.

Well the scenario I laid out is unlikely anyway, considering Houston also has to lose the rest of their games. Regardless of who may be resting starters or not.

They could lose out but it's impossible to say. Since it affects Browns draft picks I will go ahead and assume they will win each remaining game by 50 points.

It would be the ultimate own if the Browns somehow got something in a trade for Hue Jackson after the Bengals fire Marvin Lewis, then manage to fit Marvin Lewis to sit in their front office somewhere.

I composed a completely scientific poll on my twitter feed last night and asked a simple question: on a neutral field in Wichita, who would win in a hypothetical match-up, the 2008 Detroit Lions or the 2017 Cleveland Browns. And after the votes were tabulated, the 2008 Lions are still the worst team of all time
