You were right, The Limited Series categories involve Mini Series and Made for TV movies. Fargo is eligible for it because despite it being an ongoing show each 'season' is it's own discrete series with a new cast. Supporting Actor/Actress categories have limits as to how often the nominee can show up in the show so regular series and limited series get lumped together. If your character only shows up for a 3-4 episode arc it doesn't really matter if the show you're in has 8, 13 or 22 episodes.

You could do it exactly like Mad Max. Killy just wanders into people's problems and helps them or not. Although, I see the tone as much more Bladerunner 2049. A lot of gorgeous long shots to take in the scenery.

The Golden Globes nominees are determined by the Hollywood Foreign Correspondents, which is like 151 foreign journalists working in Hollywood covering movies. At least half the nominations are because they want a particular famous person to show up to their party.

How is that having any hope for the future? Haven't played Night in the Woods, but this season of Bojack and Nier both posit selflessness as the antidote to nihilism and unhappiness. Bojack only becomes a less lovely person when he becomes a less self centered person. The true ending of Automata literally has you sacrificing your save file to help strangers in the final battle. Who do the same. Which I think is pretty relevant these days.

Has the new Jumanji movie been discussed here? I've been seeing trailers for it, and it's kinda funny that it actually seems like a movie about video games by people who actually kinda know how video games work. Though presenting it explicitly as a retro game helps. Though also kind of a stealth D&D movie, there's a lot of overlap there.
