The only reason to use the language is to try and clarify for people whether or not they should continue to play HL, which the post does not do at all, which leaves it entirely vague like "hey maybe play ranked maybe don't, you might be 'affected'" that's not helpful at all.

I am serious I have no loving idea what to do. Everyone on my team have always run in at least 1v3 or said to do boss when their entire team is alive or don't listen to pings. While their team has a Kerrigan who can hit their kombo 100% of the time or a Hanzo who has immaculate aiming. Did this patch just just gently caress over Quick Match or something? This poo poo is why I only play AI mode in HotS This post is just me venting steam, I am incredibly frustrated.

Newbie diary, day FRESH MEAT. Still trying out free heroes, as they are all new to me. In the past three days I have reached 5 with Li Li, Stukov, Varian, and Butcher. Li-li actually seems mildly amusing if I feel like turning my brain off. Two abilities that don't need to be targeted, and one that only requires me to click an ally. Her actual healing thoughput feels pretty good, though admittedly I haven't tried all of the supports. Stukov definitely requires more work to play, as I actually have to hit and time things instead of mashing my face on the qwe buttons. My hunch is that he is probably better? His healing is more bursty, but killswitch does have a longer cooldown than Li Li's tea enemas. His lurking arm feels handy too, and I have been using it to reveal stealth enemies. Varian seems very flexible. Being a certified quickplay scrub newbie, I was using a twinblades setup, which seems to be able to outtrade anything except a juiced up butcher. It is pretty lovely at waveclear, but it does clean up camps and lets you push around anybody who can't stun you. Butcher seems....pretty sweet if things are going well. Admittedly, his meat stacking feels kind of like a 'win more' mechanic. If my team is getting wrecked, I am probably not collecting all the meats. If we are doing a good job in fights, butcher just seems to start dominating harder and harder. In my last game of the night I finished with 370 stacks of meat at level 23, and was autoattacking for 804 damage a hit. We won that one.

I take back my making GBS threads on Hanzo. After watching McIntyre show him off, I played some quick match and tore it up. Scatter is still weird to aim, but I can typically get it fairly close now after some practice. Natural agility also feels kinda janky to use, but I'm getting more used to it.

I was watching Kala from TS tonight since I like his community coaching series and Kala also really liked Hanzo. Second night of banjo praise from streamers, particularly for the w build.

I think people just didn't get Hanzo for a little while. His Q is comparable to Chromie's in damage and easier to aim since you can continually aim it as the range goes out, but he can hit structures too, and sonic arrow is really good.

I would hold down lane soak with three vikings and the stealth rotation deletion was incredible. We had no real ability to do objectives like haunted mines, the stealthies would just farm an incredible amount of kills until the death timers and late game TLV pushing ability came online to win games. Three buffs to TLV from this patch: The globe changes make their trait much stronger. I can stack over 60 globes a game now, giving them almost as much regen as murky. Three different camps were buffed or changed to make them much stronger, which combos amazingly well with TLV's lvl 4 merc lord talent, which gives a 50% buff to the health and damage of mercs. Lastly, the tower ammo changes are hugely beneficial to the vikings overall style of safe soak behind towers to grab xp. Overall best patch I can recall in a long time.

I don't know if Hanzo is overall bad or if I'm just bad with him, but drat I'm losing so many games. Still having fun because he's a blast to play, but probably tanking my MMR. I regret ever building Murky around not specifically fighting. Like taking his talent that makes him stronger the longer he's alive or taking Big Tuna Kahuna. Things meant more to keep him alive and kind of a threat but mostly to do the PVE stuff better. No more. Ink talents all day er' day. Once he hits 16-20 he's loving ruthless in team fights. He can take camps very fast without the support of bribes at that point. I take march cause it slimes them and I can slime them with the pufferfish and slime them with my regular slime and slime them repeatedly really fast with the level 20 talent and goddamn!!! Murky rules!!!! I used to loath Braxis as Murky. Not anymore. Bring me my slime quest stacks

Big Tuna Kahuna is still really good. Not being blown up by Valeera instantly means you are alive to slime. Having tons of health means you can just stand in there and AA them (for a free Slime every third) all day.

I've only played a few QMs since the patch, but does the game feel REALLY pushy to anyone else right now? It seems like whatever team pushes harder or has more specialists wins and teamfights don't matter as much. I already though waveclear was OP but now it seems even more OP. I dunno, it just felt really snowbally. Course I didn't play too much. Hopefully the meta sorts itself out soon.

I had the most confusing QM experience of my life last night and in my drunken haze I don't think I managed to get a screen shot. My duo (Johanna and Murky) and three strangers (Li Li, Morales, and Hammer) were matched against a four stack of level 1000 players (Stitches, Hanzo, Garrosh, Ragnaros) and a pubbie Auriel. Our team immediately resigned ourselves to quickly and quietly while partying the entire way. I can't decided what actually ended up happening is either the greatest object lesson that time investment, team organization, and balanced team composition are all lies that don't matter in QM or the most horrendous throw in history. Highlights of the match include Ragnaros killing himself on Murky's fake eggs, Morales ending the match with more kills then any other player in the match, and winning because a tank and two healers rushed the core while they were capturing the braxis beacon. We ended the game three levels up on them and really confused if that was an intentional throw or not. When I looked at the other team's profiles I noticed two of them were chat muted, the Auriel has literally never played a non-auriel hero (Level 113), and the highest any of them were ranked was bronze 5. So was that a real match or a brilliant plan to fight lower MMR players or which ones of you in this thread was that?

I'm wondering if/when we're going to see changes. Also the fact that they didn't modify orb quests at all is a bit mystifying. And I'm pretty sure they mucked up neutral orbs from objective mobs so they disappear faster using the new 4 second timer.
