Ein Rand wrote that the end result of the actions of the heroes was a massive disaster for society and then the book just ends? Is that right? Well there is a little captains of industry village where some dude built a house out of gold and another dude stuck a spigot into the side of a mountain and it spews raw petroleum when opened (I am not kidding about that). But yeah, the rest of society was utterly hosed.

I'm going to be honest here. Like, okay, Omarosa might spill some knowledge or whatever, but the entirety of this situation is loving awful. This poo poo reads like a USA Today Big Brother recap, not how the government of the United States of America should be conducting itself, or reported on. It's like, I can't help but feel that this is the kind of poo poo that Trump wants, because it specifically feeds into his view that this whole thing is a reality television show. Omarosa should absolutely speak her mind and tell her story, but this kind of sensationalist, gimmick-rear end coverage of the goings-on in the White House is exactly what Trump thrives on.

At this point, we'd really need an act of congress if we want it to get through the courts (or a utility determination). Stickman fucked around with this message at 07:24 on Dec 15, 2017 |

Ok, so someone talk to me about Beto. Because from what I see he's a state-level representative from El Paso which is not a lot to speak of voting population wise. Beyond that he's the son of a republican judge, was in a band that had some other people go on to do things, and got arrested for burglary and DUI but never charged. I'm not super stoked on the guy, Texas has to have better. This dude doesn't even have a fleshed-out Wikipedia article about him, just one small Washington Post profile, almost as a byline.
