About $200 or so, yeah. LAW tubes go for a little less. People have cobbled together $5 worth of scrap to make a gun and gamed the gently caress out of these bullshit buybacks and parked outside offering people actual cash value for their firearms.

I wish they'd do that here; it'd be free pizza and beer money. Apparently there's one in Albany every year around this time, but it's only for handguns (???) so I'd have to illegally make a pistol (because NY) which I'm not about to do. e: In a town nearby, somebody turned in a Carcano carbine that looks to be in decent shape.

Kid I know bought his for $295 and I saw nothing less than $300 at the last two gun shows. I would say it's inevitable value creep by a surplus pistol that is mechanically interesting and has ammo readily available. Cabela's here had half a shelf dedicated to Nagant ammo.
