I definitely think the murder the rich fantasies are a little hyperbolic, but I’m down for extreme taxation of anything over 5 million in individual wealth. There are lovely rich people and lovely poor people, but I’m not sure outright murdering them would solve anything. If someone more intelligent or intrepid than I could write malware or AI to clear all of those offshore and Swiss bank accounts and redistribute it to all the people that have literally no savings, I’d probably be a good first step.

A huge tax on high wealth plus large tax breaks for investing capital into the lower and middle class would own bones and solve so many problems it would be like a utopian fantasy. If the tax rate was 95% for someone making something like $10m/year or more but they can get it down to 5% effective because they invest a shitload into their workers (or just generally into lower and middle class), that would be awesome, even if their workers are still paying a higher effective rate when it is all said and done.
