I know we point to all this fox stuff and other fringe stuff, but even the hard core trumpets who would post around my circle have gone silent in the last month or two. I feel like fox is desperately flailing at this point. And now that the trump camp hates McConnell and Ryan their heroes seem to be Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan who are back bencher go nowhere’s if there ever were any. I’ve stopped worrying about what they say about Hillary and such because I think a huge amount of people have stopped listening.

Is he still polling well with the military? If him making GBS threads on that widow less than a month after her husband died didn't sour them on him I don't see them caring about this. American traditions and decorum honestly aren't worth much since it turns out people actually don't really care about any of it once someone decides to just take a crap on them and not be apologetic about it.

Anecdote but normally a trip home for the holidays involves Fox News on the TV in the background for hours at a time. This year it made an appearance for about 10 seconds. As soon as the commercial ended and my father saw they were talking about Hillary the channel was changed. This isn't the place where in the sixth sub-basement there's a shielded war room with 30-foot TV screens showing live satellite views of every political leader on earth, this is the lovely office you're trying to move out of because the pipes clank and the wifi sucks. I don't know, I feel like if their goal was to deflate the stature of "The United States Government" in the public's eyes they've done a bang-up job of it, even if completely inadvertently.
