FDR did the bare minimum required to keep America from collapsing. Which was nice but not nearly enough to matter. Still makes him better than 90% of American presidents, though that is a low bar to clear.

The family is now hugely stuffed, and I’m rather intoxicated, have a kitchen full of dirty dishes, a dollhouse to assemble, and a bunch of presents to wrap, preferably while downing a sizable portion of the upper-middle-shelf bourbon I bought for myself to survive the holidays. The rest of the film just went right by me. I just read the Wiki plot recap and I remember the assassination and the prison world but that's it. The rest of it sounds like some really solid Trek.
