I once knew a guy who would sell blow for EBT cards (or just give a grocery list to his...clients). After a particularly good weekend, he'd have a BBQ on Sunday. He wasn't even poor, his dad was a radiologist or something. So there's an anecdotal story about a rich white person exploiting addicts from the underclass. Big Trump supporter too.

The people who scream about food stamp misuse are the same ones who demand drug testing for welfare recipients even after being presented data that testing is a waste of resources. They're happy to spend money to target the poor, and angry at spending money to help them. So gently caress framing. You'll never convince them that food stamps by and large help the needy and have only a tiny rate of misuse.
