I'm pretty sure the meltdown was over the German flag. Unless the same thing happened with the Korean GP. The German GP was on the calendar but it was tentative as no track had officially taken it. So if it wasn't officially at any track it can't officially be in Germany so how can you put the German flag on it? That's highly presumptuous. To be fair to the wikipedia sperglords, we did have a European GP outside of Europe.
