This game owned and was probably the harbinger for the end of Helfrich's tenure

It's also why I try to check GDTs even if a game is a snoozer to start, I wouldn't have tuned in after the first half if I hadn't gotten wind of a comeback

Hey remember that A&M regent who said Sumlin should be fired immediately following the UCLA game? The one who owns a tank? Turns out he can't pick a date either

quote:

According to details that came out in court, Layman and Buzbee were on a date Saturday when she became heavily intoxicated and they returned to his home. Buzbee believed she was too intoxicated and called an Uber driver to pick her up. She allegedly refused to leave and hid in his home. That's when Buzbee called a second Uber driver.

Per the information read in court, Layman was aggressive toward the second Uber driver, walked back into Buzbee's home and shouted, "I'm not leaving." That's when she allegedly poured red wine on his paintings and ripped them off the wall, then threw his sculptures on the ground.

The paintings apparently include an Andy Warhol original. According to court documents, the resulting damage cost at least $300,000.

Armed Forces Bowl came first, in 2006. Military Bowl came in 2010.
Both had existed for a few years under other, non-military names before getting sponsored by big military contractors.

The main problem with his dickhead gimmick is how he utilizes it after losses. In a loss suddenly it is always the players or previous coaching staff's fault. It is similar to Gary Patterson's whining after losses except with less valid reasons.

I laughed when I read this. Wonder if there is more to this story. I remember when he made the fire Sumlin post on facebook, he didn't utilize privacy settings well. Almost all of his pictures were him alone or with conservative politicians he donated money to.

Yeah well, I think he gets to blame Charlie a bit this year. Next year, not so much. And not a problem if he has less losses!

Anyway, Texas has 2 modes, dickhead and self loathing. Nice guy charlie strong texas was never really an option, so out with that

Heck the one is a just a helicopter maker. Bell's parent company makes more civilian aircraft and golf carts (yes, golf carts) than military products.

The Hokies lost by not as bad as I thought they would.

More importantly, Justin Fuente and company pulled off the best long-con fake punt ever. 1:34 left in Q3, 4th and 10, Fuente sends out walk on QB Chase Mummau wearing #95. Punter Oscar Bradburn wears #91. Chase Mummau has spent the entire season wearing #18. They changed his number to a specialist, and even changed his position on the Hokiesports website to "H", in advance, just to be ready to pull off the fake punt to perfection. What does H stand for? Hero? We'll never know.
