With the on-field character complaints alone it sounded like old men furious at the fact that some football player in his 20s isn't a robot. I don't know. Except for the putrid class of 2013 the last drafts all had at least 2 franchise QBs 2014: Jimmy G, Dereck Carr 2015: Mariota, Winston 2016: Goff, Wentz, Prescott 2017: too early to call but Watson looked good, Mahomes and Trubisky have potential There is also the nature vs. nurture question. A rookie on the Browns will have a very different career from a rookie on the Patriots.

Anyone have a link to the draft order as of now? This information became pertinent a week earlier than I expected.

What's the feeling on where Barkley lands? A team that needs an RB or any team that needs the best possible talent regardless of team need (assuming they don't already have a franchise RB)?

There is definitely a sizable contingent of Colts fans who want Barkley. I wouldn't mind the pick, depending how FA shakes out, but it's hard for me to rationalize taking him over a top-tier defensive prospect like Chubb.

Well, ignoring the stats for a moment, because Barkley played behind a mostly bad offensive line for three years, he's arguably the best Penn State player of all time and probably the best RB I've seen play college during my lifetime. Maybe the best since Barry Sanders. It would be crazy to draft a DB over him. I don't think there are any Champ Bailey-caliber corners this year that would have as profound an impact over a career as Barkley.

Blessed be the Colts who secured our #2.GobiasIndustries posted:Browns picking #1 and #4 officially. Smart choice would be Rosen (providing he doesn't pull an Eli) and...? The sound decision is definitely Rosen and then it's a hard toss up because this is a pretty top heavy draft. Hard choice between Derwin James, Bradley Chubb, Orlando Brown, or Connor Williams. I wouldn't could out Roquan Smith sneaking up there too. CB and RB are both deep enough this year that I could see guys like Barkley and Fitzpatrick dropping a bit just because there's other options later.
