If I read a transcript of a standard Chapo podcast I would literally think that Felix is an Islamic terrorist. Maybe some podcasts don't translate to the written word. Like, I'm truly deeply sorry that deaf people can't hear Gorka's actual voice and get the joke.

i think it's more about giving someone the choice of skull surgery rather than making it mandatory, but like anything, there's a militant wing of every culture. I think it's weird to compare deaf folks to HIV patients, though. that post about amber's facebook screenshot is getting so little play that i doubt she's going to address it at all and those folks can spin their wheels until felix says mongoloid again.

I think Amber really overreacted but I kinda have a hard time taking the biweekly chapo outrage seriously because it seems like it's the exact same people on twitter who are the only ones who cry about it endlessly and they're all universally really really really bad and unironically seem like they're just mad they can't get them fired from anywhere
