So what are the advantages of Streamlink whatever? I'm an old man and installing things is hard with the configuarations and the clernifications, so I'm probably just going to watch on Twitch unless someone convinces me to do effort.

What are some runs you guys are looking forward to? It just occured to me I haven't looked at the actual schedule since the games were announced. You don't have to be as thorough as me and list the time & dates this is really just for me to easily remember "hey go to page 11 to look at the cool poo poo you wrote to look forward to" later. It gets around twitch ads You can use your own media player so: It creates a nice border less window in the corner of your screen It takes way fewer resources to run vs. the bloated twitch thing It doesn't load the chat applet

I really wanted to watch the Hollowknight run, and I may watch the beginning of it. Was trying to finish my first run of it before the event to prevent spoilers, but I’m a bit short being a completionist! Really really awesome game. I sometimes just leave it up idle for the soundtrack, which I definitely need to purchase when I finish it. I’ll be working all week long, but absolutely will be watching and posting when I shouldn’t be. Almost start time...!

guys I just cannot overstate how hype the Bloodborne All Bosses run is going to be. Please watch it. It will completely remove the stench of that dumb rear end in a top hat who was bad at the game a couple years ago who did any% by cheating his stats all the way up and facehugged all the bosses. sigh. "All Bosses" is an insanely hype route and it includes the DLC bosses and the routing is super fun. Streamlink Twitch GUI real easy to set up, no need for command line type stuff but a nifty GUI like the name says. Set up your preferred video player (I use VLC) and you can launch the stream with source quality with a few clicks in the player window. I tend to transfer it to my 2nd monitor and chatpost on my other one. Also it works a lot more stable than the Twitch player.

I know I’m the only person in either thread but I’m excited to watch FE8 and pokemon B/W 2 also strongly debating staying up to watch Toy Story, I watched an old roommate slam his head into that brick wall of a game too many times to not watch it get clowned on
