We may have finally found unobtainium but I will never find eywa.

I would think that a Freakazoid reboot would be more timely. As it stands I am not particularly enthused for more Marx Brothers but With A Girl and Hungry Ringo.

Freakazoid somehow feels even more dated despite having less pop-culture jokes overall, and I always got an impression the writers never really knew what they wanted to do with the show, they weren't sure if they just want a more comedic superhero show or a flat out gonzo show.

Nope, it's not Sausage Party. I watched the beginning to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Imagine watching this when it's advertised next to Thomas the Tank Engine and Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

Some poor grandfather posted a review starting he streamed this for his grandchildren between the ages of 5 and 12 and the 5-year old asked to turn it off because it was real bad. Luckily they stopped before the REAL risque stuff started.

Amazon gave me $5 credit for mentioning this and said they will examine it. I doubt anything will happen but I probably should screenshot it for posterity's sake.

It's very bad so it's double entendre come off as creepy and its stereotypes come off as racist but it's clearly a movie made for children

the issue is whoever rated the movie was asleep at the wheel, it's rated PG - but much of the unacceptable jokes are in your face enough it should've been PG-13 at least

I mean, everything in food fight is so grotesque so every joke in the whole movie was unsettling and unacceptable but nothing was any worse than like, the "there are no bears in san francisco"/"I saw a bear" joke in inside out or the "foot size doesn't matter" joke in frozen. Everything was just delivered really bad so innuendo seemed really gross, none of it was any worse in content than what other animated kids movies had. Like it's an extremely bad movie that would be terrible for a kid to watch because it's only good to watch on an ironic level, but it's not like pornography or anything because it delivers really poorly acted double entendres.

Fixed that for you. There were only like two or three episodes with her in them so seeing people had latched onto her so hard when I first started visiting ALotDs and PoE exhibits back in the day was even weirder. Then again at the same time there were a lot of people (including the guy who would go on to make the 2d animated game Dust) who were obsessed with a bat character that appeared in a single episode of Rescue Rangers so stranger things have happened.

Yes. And then the men's girlfriends hit them with a mallet/drop an anvil on them/shoot them with a cannon. They're extremely good.

Big Hero 6 feels like every single individual element was spot on perfect and it all came together to make a movie that is entirely fine but weirdly unmemorable.

I dug Honey Lemon's Nick Wilde phone case, myself. (Well, fox with a necktie, anyway, but given what film was up next, it's obvious who it's referencing.)

But yeah, beyond Baymax, the film hasn't stuck with me all that much, which is weird. I also don't wanna watch the opening of the film again, even though that meaningless sacrifice is a major driving point of the film.
