Ohtori also has some. In serious cases they can indicate liver issues, in his case it's from contact-rough playing and climbing around, and being handled

I understand the black spots on the feathers can be caused by overgrooming or just friction. Griddle likes to sleep against things so she ends up rubbing the pigment right off her feathers.

They are my dream parrot because hoo boy that's a big financial/time investment for a single adult human being making under $30k/year right now, rescue or or otherwise. But someday, maybe Both the ones I've met have been gentle, confident birds in a way that spoke either to general temperament (maybe) or obsessive time/money investment (in addition to the emotional investment) on the part of the owners or past owners (more likely).
