F-Zero GX laughs at how slow your normal "speed" games are. But, yeah, story mode is a hundred times more interesting. I think we'll all have gotten our fill of "go really really fast" in about twenty minutes and we'll still have an hour to go.

Honestly the biggest part of F-Zero runs is if the commentators can keep up interest. This is a pretty amazing speedrun game because of how stupid hard the tricks are, but without A-game commentary it can get samey.
