People watch top level motorsport for cutting edge engineering. To see the collective minds of some of the best in their field do their utmost best to create a machine capable of things that only small children dream of. And the best components and cars require the best drivers as well. For one can devise the ultimate chariot but unless you are Jack Brabham you are not going to be capable of extracting the best of what you have wrought. Step in the superstar drivers who have crafted their skills and careers in the lower spec series--- for raw driving ability and work ethic to rise to the top in order to catch the eyes of the teams which will entruist their bespoke beasts and to carry the team's hopes and dreams across the finish line.

Fernando Alonso was one of these superstars. Now he is a washed up has-been who commands a salary he does not deserve. He peaked in 2007 but alas Ron Dennis and the darkness in the second car colluded to rob the bright sunshine of Spain the trophy he desperately edged for. That season broke him and now we have 2008 and 2009. We had the incident where Alonso was so far gone that Flavio tried to reinvigorate his balls by getting Nelsinho to crash on purpose to forment a safety car session. Alonso even got Ferrari to pay off Kimi Raikkonen, a driver with less emotions than an Asimo, in order to bring in the Spaniard. For what? Endless heartbreak as the Fourth Reich masterminded their engineering team and allowed a mediocre driver to 4 successive WDCs while the minds at Maranello failed their Spanish comrade. For Alonso's chariot was not as experately crafted as that of Dietrich "Fuhrer" Mateschitz's literal Nazi team powered by the sort of stuff one would use to strip paint from the side of a barn.

Now we have a broken Alonso who fled back to McLaren thinking the Japanese would bring about the golden age he dreamed of at this depressingly grey team. Alas it turned out to be one of the worst mistakes of his life second only to signing for McLaren the first time round. Who is this man? Why does he command such exorbirant fees? To do what exactly? Nothing. He is overrated and if he was still good then Ferrari would have fought tooth and nail to hold on to him. But they pushed him out when they realized what he was. Proof in Ferrari's inability to hire good drivers is only confirmed when they signed on another snake oil salesman in the form of Sebastian Vettel. History repeats itself.

As we all know by now, Dietrich Mateschitz is a loving hella-nazi who is trying to create his own version of Breitbart in Austria. As we also know, the god drat literal Nazi party which is called the Freedom Party in Austria is in a coalition with the ruling party.

And now it has come to my attention that BWT which is Force India's title sponsor is an Austrian company which focuses on water purification. Clearly they're exerting their own Nazi ideologies and industry expertise by buying into an Indian team and purifying the sport of any undesirable ethnic associations.

F1 already has one Nazi team we definitely don't need another. What's next? More Russian drivers???

Austria under Habsburg rule: Over 500 years of Austrian prestige and glory.
Austria less than a century after losing Habsburg rule: Red Bull invented, ruled by actual Nazis.

Leclerc is a good driver and IMO he is already better than Grossjean or the other hASS guy. If the Alfa isnt a piece of crap he can be in the midfield.

After watching the williams doc its pretty sad the shape the team is right now.

Yeah, don't expect anything from Alonso at the stupid dumb American 24 hour event. He's in an noncompetitive slow poo poo out-of-the-top 10 car.

This is why for the good of motorsport we must introduce a spec modular engine for different series needs and spec chassis and aero parts for different classes. People come to see the driver win. They don't give a poo poo about cars or car parts. They want to see Alonso hoist the trophy and that's all that matters.

A tremendous amount of money is dumped into the motorsport industry and that's absolutely ludicrous. Who are these people? What good does it this give to society? None at loving hell. It's just pointless entertainment at a tremendous cost in terms of the environment and a loss of engineering talent which could be exerted in different sectors which matter in life and money that can be re-budgeted towards, say, cancer research or civil engineering for the future to accommodate for climate change. This bizarre, wasteful spending needs to stop. Mercedes' F1 team has something like over 700 staff. Doing what?! There's only TWO loving CARS ON THE TRACK !!!

Contract out an engineering firm, have them develop an engine and a car, and fire everyone else holy poo poo. The amount of money being saved there is ridiculous!

Once the engines are standardized, how about drafting drivers from a pool at random for each race? "OK, this week in Melbourne we have Alonso, then next race, looks like Kyle Busch. Week after that... some MotoGP or rally guy."
