Mostly publisher meddling and milking so much out of DLC and pricing on said DLC.

Game was great but lol at paying 14.99 for a single monster.

Basically bots will warp back to players after a certain amount of time so they start the finale and then go idle so the bots go back to the human players that are down and pick them up. Since the AI can't get to the players now because the finale area is past an unpassable barrier the game just despawns everything and counts it as dead so they game can't softlock on the finale.

they still never really explained how the grenade jumps themselves work, but considering it's the source engine i imagine it's just "THING GOES BOOM U IN AIR U GO TO STARS"

I think they kinda half-explained it and then interrupted themselves. Something about shooting a grenade and then dropping to AI control which changes which 'team' the grenade is for mid-flight.

It looks like they fire and then melee immediately afterwords, it's probably to skip the shotgun cocking animation but :shrug:

they're canceling the "recoil from shooting" animation with the melee animation which is slightly faster

It's a real bad game for the hunters since you have to be on point all the time and lol trying to do that with random people. It's incredible for the monster since you get to be a giant fire breathing dinosaur that punches people and gets bigger from eating dead things.
