Take a look at local flea markets and thrift stores, I paid 2 € for mine and it's been very good, it was supposedly one of the best monitors quality-wise when it was new. Has really good image for something you pick up from a flea market. My desk is just so small I can't fit a 2nd monitor comfortably, but been meaning to get a new one

Doing two monitors, myself. My big nice primary one, and a second one that I grabbed as basically a "hey I don't need this do you want it?" It's a little smallish, but works fine as a second screen for, say, having an SA thread open.
