If you only resupply it once you can do the sale solo and more than double up your 75k. If you have friends around you can wait it out if you want, but I have more luck and less frustration just doing the small sales in full lobbies for the high demand bonus.

If I have the stomach for grinding I do Import/Export instead of harassing people in the Akula.

Pretty much identical to how I play, except I have enough contacts built up I usually go for the full sale (though this is a really good idea in itself too).

The only difference is I also fill up my Coke/Meth and when I happen to have people on, bang out the sales in a row. I wish you could split profit a bit more but ultimately anyone helping me makes 105k (35k x3) for a Bunker/Coke/Meth sale and the raw profit is just under 2 mil before investments.

All I do is source a car to see what the lobby is like, and if people are bombing everyone I run some piss easy contact missions to get put into another one. Free aim doesn't have much pvp, it's not hard. Then I just alternate between selling cars and vip work.

I stopped actually sourcing cars when I found it was far more fun to use the Akula to get ahead of them then pop out of nowhere and steal the car.

Stealing Import/Export cars for your garage isn't the most effective but I'd be lying if it didn't create some of the most fun sandbox chases I've had. Same with stealing air cargo, which is worthless crap but fun to hijack. Sure I didn't make much money hovering with a friend below the Hangar "escort the C-130 mission" to snatch the falling cargo before the people even realized we were there, but my God it was fun.

ED: Actually my crowning Akula achievement was having a full 4 people on it when someone did a full Collection sale. We got ahead of the sale, I made the org dark, and then we all bailed out onto the highway and stole the entire collection. It was truly something special.

Yeah most people don’t because they have their own grind. And not having Lester constantly whine at you on the phone nonstop is worth a lot of money right there. IE and bunkers good (tolerable), the rest not so much

I guess it's part of the reason I have 250 friends and a huge number of them under 100. I'd like not to think of it as exploitative labor, but... hey, at least I help them out with sales time to time.

Basically I try to add anyone who is active, not horrifically incompetent and speaks English I bump into.

ED: To be honest, I find the BIG sales missions with lots of people fun to the point I'd be willing to risk them on full death-combat servers if not for PC hacking. I've never been pissed if I get hit legitimately but on PC you CAN'T sell on a really full server because it's just a matter of time before some 11 year old script kid connecting from some internet cafe blows up the server and thinks it's the funniest thing ever.

But those missions are a lot less tedious with a big group of like 5 people when you're rolling armored and air escorts to boot.

Just remember, every location you buy has an associated upkeep, which you pay every 48 IRL minutes. If you aren't actively getting supplies/selling product, you're basically losing money keeping these businesses active. For example the bunker you can buy for a gun-running business costs 8600 a day. You can shut these businesses down, but make sure you have a tiny bit of supplies left when you do or their associated NPCs won't stop bothering you about it.

I mean... 8600 is like, one contact mission, though. That's not too bad.

Personally, I think all this is a moot point because once you have 3 other friends to play with you, running the pacific standard heist glitch over and over is the fastest way for everyone involved to make millions in an hour.

I do enjoy doing I/E, MC business jobs, hangar, and bunker missions with random pubs in sessions but if its people I know then we're running the pac standard.

Oh it is, but it's also the fastest way to get the dreaded "Your account has been adjusted" without running cheats.

For what it's worth I've managed to avoid any negative adjustments since like the first year the game came out, when someone gave me 100k and RS still cared about 100k.

To be fair, the last time this happened it was to a bunch of people that were running it like crazy on a 2x heists weekend, so the money was just ungodly.

Then again RS used to be really angry about the helicopter exploit on Pac-Standard, which is really funny because good loving luck getting elite without it. So this might be a simple case of Rockstar not giving a gently caress... anymore. Like I said they used to go after 100k like it was the devil. Even downgraded my car over it, and I didn't even want the money (it just got dumped on me).

It's hilarious picturing RS being petty enough to downgrade a level 30 something's Buccaneer in the current game over 100k though.

Here's a list from late 2015, so some of these are probably still accurate. If they've had DLC added then there might be a new trigger.
I know at some point Lesters got updated to "if you host all of the heists, Ill stop calling" but that was after the original 5 heists. I'm partway through the doomsday stuff and he's not calling but I do get a mission popup from him to continue Data Breaches

For LJT bugging you about MC businesses, you can shut down your business BUT make sure that you have some amount of supplies before shutting down. I have supplies so he only calls me when my weed farm is full of product

I'm usually on autopilot so when i get a beepbeep i just close it without paying much attention, not really sure who calls to bug me now

The DeTomaso Pantera Lampadati Viseris is available for purchase now. It continues the trend of "Awesome retro cars" and it lets you put a small window in the back of the interior so you can go first person and watch the pulleys spin. It's pretty :krad:

Side note, this car reminded me that Rockstar really needs to give us more wheel customization options. I'd kill for more wheel styles and the ability to actually fiddle with the size, width, and spacing.

This thing is a burnout machine, too.

Also, it seems every new car that gets added has machine guns in the bumpers, but you can still rotate through your regular guns/explosives.

With all the new crap you can own having stuff like ATMs and Tattoo shops on it is annoying. Seriously I don't need to make daily runs to a tattoo place.

You can send dudes in armored cars after whoever is out on foot, and then sit back and watch it gently caress with whatever they're doing. I sent it after 2 dudes doing a truck sale, and they were driving down the highway with armored cars constantly turning in front of their truck and ramming it.

When they rage at you, they can't really do anything because you're in your facility already anyways.

Hugh Malone posted:

Well, it's $5000 which is 5/1600th of a $100 shark card, so it's only 6.25 cents per strike team. You can get 2 per minute of work at taco bell.

FuturePastNow

You can sit at the computer sending the free strike teams after people all day. And watch. They aren't much threat but they're great for causing chaos at car shows and any other grouping of players. I imagine the strike teams that cost money do better.
