I think I recall that a lot of the state/public schools in haiti forced the kids to learn in French - a language they don't understand - but that this school taught them in their own language and was doing really well.

A lot of convenience stores in my area posted a "if you're being asked to buy gift cards to pay off official bills, you're getting scammed" signs, put them right over the gift card shelf.

Not only a public service, but also saving those olds their cash so they can buy those lottery tickets and sugar drinks for the grandchildren :capitalism:
