I 100% believe they would kill a sheep for this dumb show. They've been killing hamsters for years.

This was the best GT episode of all seasons, IMO. The Farmkhana segment was great, and got genuine laughs. The Subaru badge that was shittily taped over the Audi and the fake hood scoop was brilliant. Hell, even the celebrity bit was interesting.

The wing splitters kept popping in and out throughout even the "how we faked it" film. They even faked how they faked it, i wouldn't worry too much about the sheep.

I think this season has been good, but I have no idea who these celebrities are or if they are even in fact celebrities, so I care very little about the segment. I would like to see more cars going around their track to give the lap times a bit more meaning.

With Dominic Cooper on the show, I was excited to learn about the Mamma Mia sequel. I have no loving idea why, but Mamma Mia is a shamefully guilty pleasure of mine.

The last two celebrity segments were really good/the best of the season so far despite me not having a clue who they were (other than Bill Bailey). I'd rather watch entertaining Brits shoot the poo poo than Brian Wilson pretending like he wants to be there or Hasselhof sitting there looking confused while British people talked around him.

I like how nothing actually went wrong with their beater jaaaaaaaaaaags so they engineered their own failures (ok the brake fade on the ski hill is pretty drat plausible but why did the other heavier cars with similar brakes do ok?) Very much enjoyed this episode though, even celebrity gently caress off was watchable.

Yeah that was a really good episode. It reminded me of one of my old favorites, the British Leyland episode, except they jumped up the blatant lies even more.

It was pretty funny when my Malibu did it on New Years 2007 too (well the facial scarring isn't funny but as long as beards stay fashionable I'm ok) But really, any car without a particular surge tank design will do this when you open it during an overheat situation or even at opetating temp at high altitude. It likely started to overheat a bit from climbing that hill, and they pulled the cap assuming it needed a top up and that happened. Certainly not as catastrophic as it looks or was implied to be.

Well, the car was clearly still fine and driving afterwards, so I'd imagine it was perfectly safe.

They had a lot of scenes, where you the saw genuine, raw fun they had. Like when Hammond's first car ate the rod or when they inspected the tool bag. That's what I've missed the last few years. Great episode.

Also the little exchange with him. "His father is here. Is your father here?" "No."

I liked the episode but was pretty disappointed that they barely talked about the cars; I saw the XK8 in the previews prior to the season starting and was all excited to see what they had to say about it as I'd just purchased one. The 420 was gorgeous (that back seat shot!) but there's so much to talk about with each of these cars that it just felt like a missed opportunity.

I'm a bit surprised that they didn't make any of the obvious jokes when Hammond shows up in Colorado in a car badged "420".
