Uncharted Worlds (mass effect galaxy map music) might be the best song of the entire 7th generation of consoles. Everyone remembers the first time they went to the galaxy map and that song started playing, it so completely utterly sets the tone of this entire galaxy at your fingertips to explore it is just a magical moment and one of my fav moments ever in a game. Nope not a copy pasta this is straight from the heart.

Shame that concept got axed so hard.

one time I played ME1 just to try to be a dick and one thing I did was did every single possible thing in the game until the game forced me to go pick up liara and the writers were smart enough to plan for this and by the time I got there we had already done virmire and poo poo and had figured out the vision and you pretty much explain exactly what the reaper vision is to her as soon as you get her and she has like a nervous breakdown because she's spent decades of her life trying to uncover poo poo about the protheans and then you juts walked in big dick swingin and figure it all out in basicaly an afternoon and she can't deal with it all

I feel like the best part of Mass Effect series was sitting on the galaxy map, looking around and trying to decide which part of the galaxy to explore, driving around in the Mako and even reading the various lore tidbits about the planets themselves. There was always something interesting details. The plot was just a necessary evil.
