It's not wrong, ordinary jeans just don't give you that range of motion, regardless of dick. The gusset isn't a codpiece. Try popping into a deep squat in regular-rear end 501s and see.

ikr, it's so awkward when I try to tell a regular person about how I spent saturday night refreshing my control panel to keep up to date with posts in the latest photoshop threads or something.

Back in 2007 I was doing a college internship (was a programming thing at this national laboratory) and browsing the forums some while at work (I registered in 2005 in sophomore year of college). I was reading the exercise/diet subforum (it was called something different back then) and I remember someone had a big red text avatar that said "BIG AND BLACK." My boss walked in while I had this open and I (technically correctly, I guess) explained what I was reading a fitness/weight-lifting forum as way to explain the "BIG AND BLACK." My boss talked about how he reads forums about ice fishing. I'll never know if he thought I was looking at some sort of porn/sex-related forum or something, but I was kind of in a panic at the time.

Fortunately it didn't actually cause any problems; I was doing well at the job and the zillion other times he had come by I had been in the middle of work so the browsing itself wasn't an issue.

Wonder Woman is great because of the example it sets, but there is a weird tendency to dismiss how otherwise standard it is because if that. Snappy quips, origin story, video game boss climax, etc.

I loved Atomic Blonde for how matter of fact my it treated the main character, but then we get a cringey sex scene whose first priority is titillation, followed by the love interest being killed off to give her some motivation. Felt pretty jarring to swerve into that stuff when it's got really strong material otherwise.

That's because Atomic Blonde is straight up lesbian James Bond. Which is fantastic, so long as you're cool with Bond tropes.

You know, upon reading a quote of this, all you are doing is complaining about established themes no real film can do without. How would you have ended Wonder Woman then? Without, you know, killing the opponent that the character has been told is the source of all evil all of her life on Themascyra.

And the main character in Atomic Blonde is pretty burnt out by the time of the mission in the movie. I don't think just doing it "for Queen and country" would have been enough at that point. So how else to motivate her, somewhat believably, other than the death of someone she cared for/wanted to care for?

No, really, I want to see your rewrite. I wait with bated breath for your salvation of modern popular cinema. :allears:

Atomic Blonde just made me wish it was part of a franchise with Legally Blonde, just stories about women getting into STEM/Law fields - Platinum Blonde, for when the character goes into precious metal processing. Medically Blonde for becoming a medical doctor. Atomic Blonde for going into Nuclear Physics. Improbably Blonde for getting into research for Quantum Physics.

You seem confused. I'm merely pointing out that both films use the same tropes and patterns of other films, but are nonetheless considered revolutionary.

Youre also being weirdly defensive and assuming that "it had a standard ending" means "complete horse poo poo".
