My boss talked about how he reads forums about ice fishing. I'll never know if he thought I was looking at some sort of porn/sex-related forum or something, but I was kind of in a panic at the time. Fortunately it didn't actually cause any problems; I was doing well at the job and the zillion other times he had come by I had been in the middle of work so the browsing itself wasn't an issue.

So how else to motivate her, somewhat believably, other than the death of someone she cared for/wanted to care for? No, really, I want to see your rewrite. I wait with bated breath for your salvation of modern popular cinema.

Atomic Blonde just made me wish it was part of a franchise with Legally Blonde, just stories about women getting into STEM/Law fields - Platinum Blonde, for when the character goes into precious metal processing. Medically Blonde for becoming a medical doctor. Atomic Blonde for going into Nuclear Physics. Improbably Blonde for getting into research for Quantum Physics.
