Well the roads were bad due to the rain and snow we had earlier so we shut the office down today, just means I get to work from home today. It is something I wish I could do more.

I'm gonna recommend any sports fans go see I, Tonya. My girlfriend loves figure skating so she knew the whole story, but I wasn't very aware of all of it and it was absolutely fascinating (and horribly tragic/depressing)

Tonya Harding did an interview recently and said that people still vandalize her car. She more or less keeps to herself now, and while she has wanted to do private lessons, she can't take any of her students to any meets because she's been officially banned from them.

I always forgot about Tonya Harding's attempt to become a professional boxer. It's a shame that in the late 90s, UFC wasn't a thing yet. She would have been a perfect UFC fighter.

I'm curious to see if they try to recreate the Clackamas Town Square ice skating rink she grew up practicing at. Alas, the rink was removed by the time I moved to Portland.

Feeling awful about how we as a nation treated Tanya was somewhat explicitly the point of the film. Still found the whole story totally hilarious. Allison Janney is great. Her performance here is just under her magnum opus of Drop Dead Gorgeous.
