There is clear FUD being posted here and its definitely being done by the institutional investors who are behind this dump and extreme price manipulation all because of their futures bets. I've literally seen 20 different posts from different accounts saying "my barber even bought some blah blah blah".... This is pure fud to drive noobs to sell to the big boys. They know how valuable BTC will be and they are doing what they do best to pry it away from the people.

Why are people buying at all right now?

It's been dropping consistently. Why not wait it out and buy later? Because "you" know that this is the bottom so it's time to buy? Then it drops some more.

I imagine at some point it's going to really plummet.

What are the odds that this is the top of the bitcoin market? The price perfectly tracks google searches and it is simple economics that an increase in demand for a scarce commodity increases the price. This means that the crypto market runs into the pyramid scheme problem of running out of people. This time we've seen suckers from Asia, Africa, South America so where are the suckers going to come from for the next run up? The Subcontinent or southern Africa?

Nah, I'm already pretty rich so i have no need to cash out. I'll wait for the technology to mature this is a 10 or 20 year investment for me. I never expected it to be this valuable so soon anyway.

People post the chart about how in terms of percentage this is only the 4th or 5th largest crash. My question to them is always, “What’s keeping this from being a 95% crash instead of a 60% one?”

So there’s no way to predict how big of a crash it will be?

Once it dawns on people that the bottom could be much lower then this crash can pick up even more momentum.
