I switch around too much to leave anything lower than 2 or maybe 3, but going on that scale, HBG, Lance and maybe GS are 5s, HH, SnS, Bow, and maybe Gunlance are 4s.

I finally watched through some of that Arekkz guys videos and ahhhhh I’m so ready for Friday. I’m nowhere near an experienced MH player but I’m almost glad this is going to be one of my first times really diving into the game. It’s scary and overwhelming but who cares most things worth learning are. This seems like the perfect time for new players/casual players to jump in deep.

Had some fun with the beta before it went offline back on Sunday. The highlight was when my Palico made friends with a Jagras and rode it into battle like a mighty steed. Give me Prowler Mode in MH World, Capcom. You know you want to.

Got my copy preordered. Now we wait. Playing about 20 hours of Generations has been my only experience with the series so far, but I am extremely stoked to play this with a buddy of mine. Thinking about checking out the bow this time around. Mainly used SnS and LS. IG looks dope too. I have no idea.

I saw in a GaijinHunter video that you can downgrade weapons and get a full refund of all the materials used. That's a huge QoL improvement that should encourage a lot of experimentation

During one of the big hunts I timed out because I was watching my merry band of pets try to bite Anjanath's ankles and I was laughing too hard to play.

That's a huge QoL improvement that should encourage a lot of experimentation There's so much QoL in World its blowing my mind -infinite stamina outside of combat -change equipment in the field -can eat food in the field, after you cart if you want -drop in / drop out co-op -can continue to hunt after the hunt is 'over' if you want -can adventure without being on a hunt at all -can auto-craft whatever you want automatically as you collect materials -can bind items to a radial menu -can downgrade weapons -no more goddamn zone lines and loading screens And the scoutflies are in a way a quality of life improvement over wandering around looking for the monster (or using psychoserum am I right?) but they're so much a cool mechanic they don't even count as QoL anymore

Also I dunno if you guys noticed during the beta but you can go to the map and select a monster and it'll drop a pin on that monster, and then the scoutflies will lead you towards that monster in particular and not confuse you with tracks for other monsters Like at first I got really turned around in the forest map because of all the layers and paths but then I realized I can just tell the scoutflies where I want to go and they'll show me the shortest route automatically omg As soon as you spawn after getting carted the flies are already like THIS WAY -> you don't even have to think about where you spawned This game is gonna be so loving good
