You know, all of the talk of Chris Roberts as the ultimate idea man while leaving everyone else to make it happen reminded me of something, and I wasn't sure what it was, and then I remembered reading this short story, which in hindsight feels like 'What if Chris Roberts had been a sci-fi writer in '70s Britain and created a planned community instead of Star Citizen?' It's no Fourth Stimpire, but the parallels were remarkable once I noticed them.
