I finished Undertale, while being thoroughly underwhelmed by it. Even now I feel I should do one of the replays just to see if there was something I missed or didn't get.

At least with certain types of media, such as games, books, and movies, I always try to finish them especially if I feel like having an opinion on the matter. How can one judge a thing without having known it? That's why I tend to finish things I dont like, if only to criticize fairly.

Single-handedly repopulating the Earth.

So, The Last of Us Remastered is on sale on PSN for $12, so I picked it up.
I was enjoying the hell out of it until my PS4 controller died about 6-7 hours into a play session (Not straight, but I left the PS4 on during eating/pooping/honeydoos. )
That's sad, because I remember getting 10+ hours out of both the Joycons and Pro Controller.

That's my "The Switch is the best console right now" story.

And it made one-eighth the difference.
The Switch's best feature is letting you delete games while having them still show up in your home menu so you can still brag to your friends about how many Switch games you've spent money on.

Also congrats on one thousand pages of terrible opinions.

Playing it once with the normal ending is still enough to know if you’d like it though I’d say as someone that did all 3.

I don't delete games off my Switch because I have this weird anxiety that the power will go out or there will be a nuclear war or something and my only entertainment will be my Switch with the games I currently have on it. Nuclear war may or may not be likely but we have had the power go out for close to two weeks less than five years ago and I have a backup battery that can power my Switch for 24 hours (and my phone for considerably longer) so that actually makes some sense given that during our two week outage we ended up with a borrowed generator that powered about eight to ten things at a time. One of those eight to ten things could be my backup battery for a short time each day.

E: And we were housebound at the time because of the weather so it's not like there was much else to do besides play video games.

Because you are dependent on a 3rd party to maintain their service in the event that you lose your copy.

The main drawback to digital is that if you purchase a game you don't like, you're stuck with it. If you buy it physically (and you aren't crazy like me) then you can trade it in, or return it, or sell it, or swap it with your friend, or whatever. If you're me, you just keep it forever anyway because that sweet, sweet collection isn't going to build itself. Hoarding? Run in my family? Noooooooooooo.

In this presidency I'll forgive this thinking.

Plus I never sell or trade in physical stuff anyway so it made sense for me to go full digital (but not in the pornographic Senran Kagura way of course (no offense if you're a fan of that in a non-pornographic way but let's be honest, how is that even possible(I'm serious here))).

The fact that, when discussing video game formats, you specifically went out of your way to explain how digital meant 1s and 0s and not your dick leads me no choice but to assume that you dock your Switch with your penis.

I mean that goes without saying, but I'm fine saying it anyway because I'm proud of my penis.

I don't recommend this action for everyone though, especially if you don't have a penis.

I suppose. I don't like bullet-hell so the whole battle system just bugged me. And the characterization and plot was fine but it felt derivative of better works. I'll probably get to it at some point, because I really feel like I misunderstood something considering how popular it was.

Same thing happened with Infinite Jest. I didn't really care for it (it's very competently written but again I think it was just over-sold to me like Undertale had been), but it's way too drat long for me to want to re-read it to see what it was I may've missed.

I sold my Game Boy Player (the Gamecube one) on eBay when I was a poor teenager strapped for cash. I had to buy it back for like three times what I sold my old one for a few years ago. I learned my lesson. Never again.

Oh yeah and I regret selling my blue GB Pocket. That thing was badass.

I just remembered though that I found another NES zapper at an estate sale a while back. Go to estate sales if you want old video game stuff. Every old couple has a NES in their attic that hasn't been touched in decades.

By checking to make sure that the Nintendo account logged into the system has purchased that title? Not sure why this would work any differently than using one SD card.

Depending on who you saved or not, there is likely a bunch of things that you missed that, indeed, are things people really enjoyed about the game.

If you didn't enjoy the base game or humor though, I don't think it's enough that's gonna change your mind. The other endings are a lot more satisfying though.

Yeah, I definitely prefer to have them all just on the system. I have a nice Switch case that allows me to carry the little carts with me but it really is nice just to change games instantly with digital. Right now my strategy is to only get games I won’t replay as often, like Zelda, physical while stuff like Mario Kart and Splatoon is digital.
