I used to do a gin, V8, raw eggs, and hot sauce for a hangover cure when I drank like mad. But I busted the yolks. No way I could swallow those whole.

Controversial and Correct: Clamato is 100% better than V8. The Clamato, tequila, Steel Reserve and Twangerz cocktails I love will never stop loving me. Never. E: Sometimes I throw two raw eggs in that cocktail if it's early. It's just a texture you can taste if you don't chug fast enough. E2: I want friends like chitoryu that have too much wine and wanna share. fizzymercury has a new favorite as of 06:03 on Feb 6, 2018 |

My hangover cure is Powerade and complaining. I also keep a bottle of water at the bedside anyway because I suffer from dry mouth when waking up so it helps keep the dehydration down. Still need a fellow alcoholic to get through this wine with me because I bought a bunch of bottles without considering them going bad a week after opening.

Cannot find a pic, but the italian/cajun place near me sells bottles of pickle juice for hangover time. Will eventually try one, probably when I hit them up for brunch soon.

Pickle juice cures cancer. I keep the big ballpark jars of pickles around for hangovers/hockey games/a snack. I'm not entirely sure I know how to live without a few slugs of pickle juice a day. I realize I don't sound reasonable after admitting to Clamato abuse, but pickle juice is great.

Also I discovered the joy of thai chilies the other day. I took a bite out of one, and that hurt, in a good way. The AFP is going to be when, knowing me, I go way overboard the first time I cook with them, and end up burning off a few layers of tissue in my mouth and esophagus. Schubalts posted:You got beat, in full-size pizza form. I should have been more specific. Yes, those exist, but they are frozen. I want the cookie to be hot, the sauce to be room temp, the ice cream to be cold. That's why the ice cream would have to be put on as a pre-frozen disk. Maybe put fruit on top of the ice cream too.

The Illinois ones are all in the northern part of the state (two outside of Chicago, I think, and one in Rockford); and then in Wisconsin they span a pretty large area of the state. If you happen to be near one on a trip I would say it's worth checking out, and maybe seeing if they have anything else that you can't find elsewhere.
