The best part is that It's his own fault. They're talking on top of a building for dramatic wind effects but that wind is screwing up his dramatic coffee pour.

I love them already :allears:

Yeah they are already great. This arc looks super fun with a bunch of lively class antics combined with Mirio and funny villains.

Looks like Gentle's quirk might be some sort of spacial manipulation? The convenience store is looking awfully funky after he took down those heroes.

Considering Gentle called out to La Brava and she replied "I know!" beforehand, I'm thinking they combo'd their quirks.

Quirk combos would be a fun thing to introduce, love to see Bakugo use Kirishima as a human cannonball.

Yeah it's great we're getting to see Eri making a recovery but hoo boy if Horikoshi wanted to really make readers hate a villain he could have them kill/do bad stuff to her and people would flip.

I hope Bakugou and Todoroki invite the kids from their special lessons to the festival too, then Eri can finally have friends her own age. You know, assuming it all goes well and she doesn't accidentally kill anyone.

I think this is a very real thing for the future, especially since teamwork has been emphasized as the answer to a post-All Might era.

Heck, two chapters ago we had news that pro heroes themselves were starting form a team, and Mina talks about how her quirk can be used in conjunction with other member of the class.

The pro team thing is especially noteworthy since the team include Kamui and Mount Lady. They were the very first two heroes we saw in the manga, which started out with Mount Lady pretty much jumping in to take down a villain Kamui was in the middle of restraining and taking credit for the arrest. Shows how heroes have started to shed their attention-seeking mentalities.

To be fair to Overhaul for the one thing he genuinely deserves, he WAS sort of interesting at this point of his arc too.

Just a shame about everything past the intro. Right now, Chiaki seems like the biggest misstep villainwise (even some of his mooks were at least fun and interesting), so I'm totally optimistic for some probably genuinely fun new villains.

Oh yeah, that's def true. Gentle and La Brava are easily the most light villains we've had all series, really, and that's way more interesting.

Yeah Overhaul was introduced by body horror fusing a guy's face onto a manhole cover although later that was walked back that he undid it and also healed their cavities in the process.

I still think overhaul's big problem was that we didn't really see enough of him. We were more told what bad things he did than shown, and we don't really know his real motivations until the end. Compounded with the pacing problems and dodgy chapters and missed weeks it added up to him being petty bland in spite of his great design.

I'd add their method of attack is probably directly related to the fact they do it on video, viewtiful joe style, considering that Gentle specifically requested a cut.

It looks like La Brava has funny thing going on with her in the translation. They called her Lovelover there probably because the Spanish pronunciation of La Brava sounds like that.

La Brava also appears to be Italian for "good" according to Google translate. The name is apparently Raburaba in it's original form.

So something like Love Robber also works.
