gently caress. Yes. gently caress yes. http://lambgoat.com/news/29527/Unearth-set-to-record-new-album That quote from Buz about writing the same record over and over is fuckin great as well. Here's hoping a DL-tinged Unearth album is as radical as it sounds.

Ashamed to admit I had never heard of this band until their guitar player killed himself last week, but holy poo poo. Their self-published EP is real good, and this track off their upcoming full-length has my interest piqued to hear the rest of it. The vocalists nail every mode. It's nothing too original; the harshes are Gus Farias, the growls are Jimmy Ryan, and the cleans are… well half the genre. But their execution is superb. Check out the scream on the line "I was a child who never smiled" @1:19. Fuckin chills https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA5pkbo4cFQ (edit: yeah, the music video is lame af, but that's all of them anymore…) Beelzebozo fucked around with this message at 22:07 on Feb 8, 2018 |

Harm's Way released a new one. If you like them, you'll like it. It'll probably be my go-to album for "ignorantly heavy background noise" for a couple weeks.

The breakdown at the end of Temptation is something I really hope they'll play live. Not sure why the gently caress they put it at the end of a noise track. Reminds me of Forever by Code Orange and all the stupid experimental poo poo they added to make the album essentially unlistenable. Posthuman has a fistful of bangers and some okay songs. Solid effort and glad to see them make up for Rust. I mean, hey, Acacia Strain and Oceano drop stinkers here and there so..

ATR’s transition from dope metalcore band to mediocre with some high points to full on MAGACore Chud Rock is amazing, befuddling and sad. I used to love those dudes. You still can’t gently caress with those first three records.

Having a middle act that you don't care for is actually pretty ideal.
