Even if he’s not cheating, it’s just smart to have condoms around even if she’s on BC. If you forget a pill or get sick within like 30 minutes of taking it, having a backup method is just smart.

I mean that is true. Orcs are portrayed as evil and dumb as a race. But exceptions exist. And honestly the core rules/canon are merely guidelines.

You could draw the conclusion that certain races are meant to be analogues of IRL minorities, but I think that contradicts the "spirit" of D&D, or at least what the creators intended.

I mean, orcs are all extremely heavily muscled, commit rapes constantly, have tribal leanings and tattoos, witch doctors, etc. See where I'm going with this? I mean, gently caress, I think third edition even had a quote about orcish writing being an ugly bastardized version of the superior Dwarf language mostly used for graffiti.

It's definitely possible that it's just a matter of people looking too heavily at something, but I mean, c'mon. Don't get me wrong, I like D&D, but it's a bit much in that specific way.

I (29m) have mixed emotions after an unusual encounter

quote:

So the other day, I had my first escort experience after years of not seeing any girls at all, not even a hug in a very long time. She was great and gorgeous and the environment was fine, clean and professional.

After our 30 minutes she told me she wanted to watch a movie with me. I mentioned I am not after more time and she reassured me that she wanted to go back to my place, because I was a "nice guy" and she didn't want money.

The rest of the evening including the morning was highly intimidate, and not what I would imagine an escort to be doing for fun (or money). It was all a bit personal sexually wise, (not just lust, if you know what I mean) .Plans and details of life were given and I even asked if she does this for any of her clients and she said she never has or does.

She left and wanted to meet me in town and also wanted to come and CLEAN my flat later.

I've been left with really mixed emotions and this doesn't seem very escortly and was way to intimidate to not ignite some sort of feeling beyond lust. Having no intimacy for years then to have someone be like this fucks with you emotions.

Any escorts out there hear of this? I don't really want to get involved with an escort due to her sleeping with other men, could this be some sort of behaviour to get me back and paying? The reason I'm asking is that my judgement is likely clouded and I'm struggling to find things to say to her.

TL;DR

Escort got personal and intimate outside of her working environment. Not sure if I'm being played.

I played Half-Orc Aragon once in a Pathfinder game. It was super fun because I got to roleplay overcoming people's expectations, and Pathfinder is built for the Greatsword/Longbow Ranger.

I have no mouth and I must post
My [21F] sister [18F] won’t let us see her or her baby [1wk]

quote:

My sister got pregnant with her now ex-boyfriend. He ran as soon as she had a test in her hand, so the whole family has been pitching in. For most of the pregnancy, she was living with our parents, but got an apartment about a month and a half ago. They furnished about 90% of the nursery after my sister lost her job, and help keep her pantry stocked. She’s working again now, but it’s minimum wage and she’s not able to work as long now. I come about 2 hours away from college to help out, and I think my sister and I have a good relationship. She confides in me, cries to me. I go with her to appointments, and planned her baby shower. Financially, I can’t contribute much, but I do pick up a onesie or two any time I go shopping. Her best friend is the godmother, but she’s been away at college and can’t always be there. I’d like to think I’m a good supplement.

Last week, my sister went into labor at about 3am. I only found out when my sister’s best friend posted on Instagram at 8pm that my sister had a baby girl, with the weight and all that posted too. My mom called to find out what hospital, and if everyone was okay, but she didn’t get an answer. So, I called my sister’s best friend to ask if my sister and her baby were okay, and she didn’t answer either. My sister and her friend keep posting pictures of the baby, and even put the name out over the weekend. We’d all been told it would be Elizabeth, after our grandmother, but she chose Waverly instead. I feel like something happened and I don’t really get it? My mom went to the apartment to see if everything was okay, but even though the lights were on, and people were talking, nobody answered the door. Her friends have been posting on social media about the baby, even posting pictures they’ve taken and talking about how nice it was to visit- so I know it’s not just a no visit rule. I’m so confused. Is it inappropriate to keep reaching out? What would be something... Good to say? I just want to approach her because I don’t want to miss out on a relationship with her or my niece. How do I come to her with this?

TL;DR: My sister has shut my family out from visiting her baby.

Do you feel it, Zach?
My coffee warned me about it.

My [26M] parents [55M, 52F] seem to be uncomfortable with me dating Asian women

quote:

My last two long term relationships were both with East-Asian women, one of them Chinese, the other half Korean, and my current girlfriend is Japanese. I don't fetishize Asian women or anything but I do often find them very attractive since I have a bit of a preference for small, cute women. Also I'm kinda short and being reasonably taller than my girlfriend feels pretty good.

Recently I introduced her to my parents. I like her a lot and had hoped that my parents would do so as well. It went okay, they said that she seemed nice but they also made some comments on if I think that it would work out because of culture differences and sort of insinuated that I might be happier with a fellow German girl afterwards. They didn't outright say it but I feel they're not happy with me dating outside of my ethnicity (we're white) and I don't want to accuse them of anything but since I'm their only child maybe they would prefer to have white grandkids. It seems really racist and I don't want to accuse them of anything but I get that kind of feeling from it.

They probably wouldn't admit to it if I directly asked them though, maybe it's more of a subconscious thing. Is there anything I can do or do I just have to live with it?

tl;dr: My long term girlfriend is Japanese and my parents seem to be unhappy about it and would prefer it if I dated a fellow German girl
