That reminds me of an incident here a couple years ago. 16 year old in a suped up truck hit another car doing about 110, hosed both of them up good. Anyways the kid driving gets released from the hospital with two broken hips. loving dozen officers are waiting at his house when the private ambulance pulls up and they sit around dumbfounded for about 30 minutes trying to figure out whether they should pull him out of the wheelchair and throw him in the back of a cruiser. Finally an adult showed up and they agreed to let him surrender when he'd recuperated a bit more.

Rising wages are typically an indication of inflation, which means the fed will raise interest rates, which means that bonds and other fixed-income assets become more attractive than equity. The stock market is not the economy. Good economic news can have bad effects on the market, and vice versa. Maybe if the stock market, which is at this point largely disassociated from reality (price to earnings ratio? What?), and is a mass fever dream funded by small investors being gouged by fees and outmanuvered by speed trading and computers and I don't know where I'm going with this but gently caress the stock market
