Didn't one of the XSEED people mention in their discord a short while ago that they didn't even have the license yet? I'm probably not going to pick up 3 until 4 is done simply because I've heard it ends on an even bigger cliffhanger than the other "first chapters" but it would be nice to know that things are ramping up at least.

Because CSIII has enough references to put these kinds of documents through their paces. Anyway, NISA's only Falcom-related announcement was the Ys VIII Switch port for summer release. I'm not that surprised they didn't announce CSIII, but I was semi-expecting them to announce that they had CSI and CSII's PS4 ports in the bag. It was kind of a relief that they didn't.

Been slowly making my way through Xanadu Next before I return to Trails; just hit Castle Strangerock - which definitely feels like the endgame - but apparently I've another 2,000 rooms to go through if Steam's achievement tracker is to be believed. I'm guessing there's some manner of mega-super bonus dungeon?

It's called the Netherworld. The entrance is on the broken staircase at Castle Strangerock's main entrance. It opens up once you've reached the end of the castle. It also sucks. I gave up on 100%ing Xanadu Next because everything in the Netherworld takes loving forever to kill.

The only thing of note is Nayuta and Towa have the same surname though given Towa also appears in Tokyo Xanadu, don't read too much into that. Fun game though. Definitely worth playing.
