Nostalgia4Butts posted:trainwreck was p. funny She's funny, but Judd Apatow movies are just the same loving thing every movie 1. Write half the dialogue. Or just write a scene summary! 2. Ad lib everything else, including five minutes of jokes 3. Do several takes so you can edit in more jokes and run the one somewhat funny joke into the ground 4. Repeat for 40 scenes 5. Print money because women wanna watch rom coms instead of fury road again

The only movies he's directed that I've seen were Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin. I did like most of the stoner comedies he wrote, though. I think Anchorman 2 might've been a turning point. :/

Apatow has a lot of material. Chances are you've seen more than two of his movies.

Chocolate chip cookies are like bacon. Everyone has a preference. I like crispy cookies that are thin. This doesn’t mean I hate thick cookies.

Watching Dirty Money and I'm on the pay day lending episode, holy poo poo. gently caress those people. I think what's even more infurating is the cutesy way they try to play off misleading customers as people not taking personal responsibility.

Taco Truck is still running, but my back and knee aren’t holding up to the work. I’ve got a 130lbs generator i pick up and move every day plus the monstrous clutch hurts my knee every time I engage it. It’s just too much work for not near enough money. I’ll probably still work the truck part time even if I do get this adjunct spot.

im still massively confused by the voc rehab chain of events mr nice: i have temrinal ballpain. i want to run a taco truck and raw dog divorcees in florida but i need a law degree voc rehab counselor: okay. here is $200k to get a law degree from fsu or uf or whereever. also, enjoy a vasectomy on the house. mr nice: okay i have graduated and now im running a taco truck. i never took the bar exam. why aren't you practicing law or working in compliance at a bank or something....

/\ the taco truck seems like a play taken from my book of stupid decisions. I'm pretty sure that car accident in a Geo didn't help one bit either though. Truck clutches are no joke, but you're supposed to learn to rev match and shift without disengaging the clutch. Especially if it's a diesel. And your generator issue can probably be solved with a harbor freight winch and some locking casters. But cooking is stressful, and I imagine trying to run it yourself as the owner is a series of ulcers. Best of luck, man.

Get the loving winch instead of the hand crank. I made this mistake for lifting the hard top off my jeep and I wish I'd have dropped the extra $50 or whatever.
