60 fps is definitely better in almost all cases, but as long as the frame rate is stable at 30-plus and you're not playing the game for cash prizes, then you have no reason to complain.

Not surprisingly, D&D posters used the thread to make AmeriKKKa rants and to complain about Republicans, as they are fond of doing in every D&D thread. Edgar Allan Ho made a post which was like half-positive and half-critical of America, and some poster immediately got defensive and took exception to his positive comments about the US. Edgar Allan Ho then pointed out that some Americans are violently passionate about whining about the US and to make any sort of positive statement about the US really gets them worked up. Later a bunch of morons came into the thread to angrily insult him and to deny that they got mad at his vaguely pro-America post lol

Hobbit's high framerate reduced motion blur, and made the film look like a cheap TV show shot on video. Compare that to games that don't have the advantage of smoothing frames with blur, higher framerate helps them.

Actual unpopular opinion: there should not be cemeteries. It's a colossal waste of space. The dead should only ever be cremated if you want to keep an urn that's fine otherwise just spread it around / throw it away.

Really, donating bodies to science should be mandatory. A near-inexhaustible supply of cadavers to cut open and analyze will educate students, keep track of societal health changes on a more comprehensive level, encourage organ transfer, and free up cemeteries everywhere. Like, still have general memorial sites-- etched name into a wall of stone and shrine/prayer areas etc etc--but none of this horseshit "everyone gets a plot... except when we exhume your corpse in a few decades to rotate the plot for the next person to pay to be there."

There really are ways to cook a steak that are so blatantly better than others though. The competence of the cook is the biggest difference between a steak melting in your mouth and tasting like poo poo. Eat it how you like it but people that don't know or care how they cook their steak make terrible steak.

Shows like Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are mindless consumerist crap and its sad that they're so popular and people don't see those shows for what they are. The Soul games used to be innovative and unique but they are just more of the same thing over and over and rely more on formulaic trial and error rather than challenging the player to think and explore. MGSV had a brilliant ending but people are too stupid to think about it. Metal Gear Survive looks cool for what it is, a spin-off game, but it's nothing to be angry about. Breaking Bad was a great show, but the finale was fan pandering trash. Hope I'm doing this right
