Just play a tactical RPG and you'll be able to do that yourself, as many times as you like.

There's a level on which I really, really don't understand your approach to movies.

It kills me if that's all you want, you're still refusing to see One Punch Man.

Literally everyone likes One Punch Man. My friends who think anime is like 99% demon rape porn and quietly judge me for loving it like One Punch Man. Bill Burr likes One Punch Man. It's the "Under Pressure" of anime.

Since it's the subject of discussion in both(?) threads, Genos is maybe the most 90s-looking DBZ-meets Guyver-meets BLAME! -looking B.A. Motherfucker ever and a recurring gag is how the poor bastard keeps getting absolutely clowned on

e: Like I'm probably not the first person to give ONE (the manga artist) credit for this but he perfectly captures the feel of characters you might have drawn in your lined notebook back in 1997, if you were an 11 year old kid who really liked DBZ and Bio Booster Armor Guyver -

I mean, to me, Superman fighting Zod was a cool, exciting scene. To you, it's something that upset you so much that you literally never miss an opportunity to tell everyone how much it upset you.

To me, the idea of Strange teleporting someone from a different movie around is...fine. To you, it's something that is worth specifically posting about.

Either a fanservice moment to show the black suit or...one is Zod and traditional Krypton, the other is his Father Jor El's wishes, and the Red+Blue is Hope and his life on Earth. In effect, if this is after his resurrection, he's given a choice once again on what path to take and I'd say he chooses his own on Earth. That's kind of how I could see it.

Or maybe the Black Suit represents a different path. Something darker but not quite Zod. It's his Red+Blue but dark.

It represents the doubt he's had in himself, his struggle of whether or not he should be a savior to the people of Earth. He turns away from that doubt, shutting it away, and fully embraces becoming an ideal of hope.

[edit] Additionally, the one time we saw Clark clad in a black suit was during his history lesson with Zod in MoS, where he wrestled over the idea of joining Zod in rebuilding a new Krypton on Earth, killing everyone in the process. The black suit represents the idea of rejecting mankind.

Jor-El wore a black suit like that in Man of Steel. Could have been he could have become like Zod - a tyrant, like his biological father - a leader to pull humanity into the future, or choose his own way - to be a symbol of hope that inspires the world with his deeds.

The suit is brighter than his Man of Steel and Batman v Superman suit (I still don't care for the muscle tone on the suit) but as K.Waste pointed out in his video, color means something and it's all very deliberate.

But that begs the question: what if Superman was in color?!?!?!

Tart Kitty
Dec 17, 2016

Oh, well, that's all water under the bridge, as I always say. Water under the bridge!

I took it that the color suit was like, a ceremonial suit. It's not the black suit worn on the council, and it's not the armored suit worn for war; it's a vibrant symbol, even to Krypton itself. I think that meshes quite nicely with what Superman is supposed to represent as a whole.

That scene was gorgeous...it made me feel all the love I had for the parallel scene in Man of Steel all over again. I couldn't help but grin all over again.

gently caress...there really was the proper thematic conclusion to Superman's arc somewhere out there in this butchered movie.
