Sara is the correct choice. And why can't I purchase it on steam yet?

It won't be visible, but it's there. Terper fucked around with this message at 19:42 on Feb 14, 2018 |

Terper posted:https://www.dropbox.com/s/8sa1hl78n0148fn/save000.dat?dl=0 Reposting my comment on this from the Falcom thread: As the guy who made this, I will caution everyone that I made it by hex editing a save from the very start of the game. I've tested it by loading it to start a NG+ and skipping through the cutscenes up to the point where you get control for the first time, and everything appeared to work fine, but I suppose it could be possible that there are side effects that only appear later. Since it's from the start of the game, there's not much point in selecting any of the Carry-Over items, as there really isn't much of anything to carry over. It's mostly useful for getting the bounses (costumes, the mira/sepith bonus, and max bonding points). You still get to load your own CS1 save during the NG+ prompts, so don't worry about that part.

On GoG you seem to get some free DLC costumes if you have any of the Sky games, on https://www.gog.com/account select one of the Sky games and click More -> Serial Keys. Dunno if you also get those through Steam or Humble somehow.

My system's not able to load the NG+ save at all. Edit: Oh, nevermind, I just needed to push through that error.

Did you make sure to choose Load Game and choose the first (visibly empty) slot, and not try and start a New Game? e: Right, yeah, ignore no system data.

Did the Turbo Mode button change? It used to my my right trigger, but that's not doing anything now.

You may have to turn on Turbo Mode in the launcher.

The default button for Turbo Mode was changed to L3 for whatever reason, so change that.

Changing the music is the same as CS1, right? Gonna have to find that wav converter site again because the game for whatever reason double speeds pure mp3's.

How do I bring up the launcher to make those changes? I’ve already started the game.

Just so people know - I saw someone elsewhere mentioning that rebinding to the usual trigger wouldn't work for some reason. I imagine it'll get patched soon enough, though. BearDrivingTruck posted:How do I bring up the launcher to make those changes? I’ve already started the game. Mine's still downloading but it's likely the way it usually works in Steam. Right-click on the game in your library (not on the desktop shortcut!) and there'll be some option like 'Launch Configuration'. smenj fucked around with this message at 21:37 on Feb 14, 2018 |

It should be mentioned that the Cold Steel drama CD is required reading for CS2; the game assumes you're familiar with the events because they're mentioned half a dozen times in the prologue. http://www.trailsofcoldsteel.com/cs2/memoirs1.html

I just discovered an easily-missable scene (with voice acting, even) in CS1, on 10/30. Just after you finish in Class VII's dorm. You can go into the train station at that time. I'll just finish re-watching the end of CS 1 then dive into CS 2.
