If anyone needs an excuse to go to Italy they have opened up more of Pompeii so it’s worth a re-visit. Also if you haven’t been to Crete then you should do so. The palace at Knossos Is one of the most jaw dropping places you could ever visit - what makes it special is that it’s in the middle of nowhere, and as there’s not the quantity of tourists as other places the only sound is the cicadas.
