once made a very fine very british cocktail I will recommend called Ribenot Grigio which is about 4/5 supermarket pinot grigio (crucially this was in 2011, which was a good vintage) and 1/5 ribena sirop. Drink out of a champagne flute or heavily stained pint glass as is your choice.
