In 2012(!), King of Swag realized the original Lombard was screwing people out of 20ga shells everytime they sorted, and fixed it and posted a fixed version. However his version replaced the original esp file, so it didn't work with the TTW version that Davoren posted in February of this year, and Davoren's version contains the original screwed up script. Anyhow, long story short, I made a version of the patch that actually is a patch and just overrides the original script. It requires Gun Runners Aresenal too because gently caress you, buy it.

load order went here It runs and most of it works, but there's a few weird things. First, the loot menu mod straight-up doesn't work. There's a weird issue with jsawyer ultimate where it doesn't change the varmit rifle to .22 as advertised but does change the ammo Sunny gives you. CASM refuses to work, saying it needs NVSE plugins but I think I have all of those. Low profile armor mod is decent to spruce things up. Spice of Life is also good but you have to faff around with body model mods to make it work best.

I'm also getting bugs with missing models, notably 5.56 pistols but probably some other stuff. Don't have any mods that add new items. Is there a common culprit I should look at or is i tjust gonna be enabling all my mods one at a time>?

Update: looks like some meshes from YUP got hosed up, reinstalling fixed it. This is kinda spergy but does anyone know if there's a mod that 'cleans up' interiors so like the casinos aren't all still bombed out and stuff

I'm using New Vegas Character Expansions. Whats the best general face-texture replacer? I don't like FCO and I'm not specifically looking for courier-specific textures. Really I just want skin to look like skin. I'm not using ENB either, if that matters at all.

I just found that there's a teleporter between The Sink and Lombard Station. So now I have access to all my things, overpowered crafting stations, and The Weapon Wall, at will, two loading screens away. I will never sell anything again.

I added a couple of sweet mods I've used before, made a bashed patch and a merged patch, loaded up the game... stuck on the title screen. Background cones up but no title or cursor. Well, clearly some mod is loving everything up. I disable the new mods and the bashed/merges patches, load up the game. Everything's fine. Re-enable one of the new mods, everything's fine. Re-enable two, everything's fine. And so on, until I've narrowed down the culprit, the file which was crashing the game at the title screen. ...the merged patch. ??????

Good practice is to check your merged files in xedit for errors. Chances are there is a issue with a mod lower in your order causing issues.

Has anyone else had trouble with Unofficial Patch Plus? Whenever I try to start up the game, it crashes during the loading slideshow, around when the Bethesda/Obsidian logos show up. It does this regardless of load order, even a bare-bones loadout with just YUP and UP+. Mod Organizer also lists it as an out-of-date version, even though the Nexus page says 1.53 is the most recent one.

You need to disable it before assembling the bashed patch otherwise things won't work properly Also are you using NVSE and JIP, or whatever the requirements are

I don't have a bashed patch. I'm running a pretty small mod set, so I figured I might be able to live without one. And I have both NVSE and the JIP plugin. I might try installing JIP straight to the data folder instead of through MO, just to see if that has any effect.

You sure it is UPP? NVSR has been known to cause crashes.

I also have MCM in my order. I do have NVSR, though it seems odd that it would conflict with UP+. That's mods, I guess. I'll try getting rid of NVSR and seeing if that works. It's crazy how much better the vegas area feels like with strip open and freeside open. You can really tell that this was how they intended it to be played and it feels a lot more impressive.

Freeside Open is too much trouble for what it gives you. I've stuck with Freeside Restoration instead. It still keeps the more populated look of the place without connecting the world spaces, so it has way more compatibility with other mods.

Personally I've found that the Kings questline tends to break a lot with Freeside Open, particularly with GI Blues.

Huh, that makes a lot of sense. House and the NCR have fairly similar goals, I'm not surprised the development team originally an ending where they team up. I'm guessing it got cut because of time?
