For the price I guess it could be serviceable if that's the kinda thing you want though? Mine showed up today and it works fine. The nub on the rotating circle pad (not the joystick) is too small and slick to provide any purchase for rotating the dang thing, I'm going to hit it with some sandpaper to rough it up a bit, but all the other buttons and wheelies click nicely. The giant switch in particular is really stiff with a loud and solid click, which is good. e: just noticed one corner has a big chip taken out of it. vv oh well. don't care. I didn't see any bagpipes or hurdy gurdys but how about a Natural Bamboo Pan Flute or a 28" Gong? Maybe not that strange but interesting that you can buy that poo poo direct from China. I was actually researching "Chibsons" the other day but apparently they are real hit or miss, like some are just shoddily made, shameless copies and others are made by former people who worked in proper guitar factories etc. Kibbles n Shits fucked around with this message at 05:03 on Feb 23, 2018 |

Update on this, I guess: it's still working fine and the accuracy is pretty much the same as any other digital watch I've had. I've also grown more accustomed to reading it, so all in all it turned out to be an excellent purchase.

I keep searching for the AliExpress version of this car registration/insurance document holder (about 8 1/2 “ letter size) but I get a lot of license plate brackets as results. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B075Q4YXMN/

Or splurge $20 on eBay for a Lamy safari, the Lamy nibs are a universe apart from those crappy disposables. My last one lasted about 5 years of daily use. Edit: I only replaced it because I thought I lost it, then the moment I ordered a new pen it reappears

norp posted:I wouldn't bother with a fountain pen from Ali I bought a couple of Jinhao fountain pens and was really impressed for the <$3 price point. One of them did arrive with a bent nib and the seller replaced the whole pen. Don't buy ink on AE, though. It's thin, not waterproof, and sold in disposable cartridges that may not fit your pen very well.

We've come back around to fountain pens. I've bought a crapload of them off Ali. All in the $3 to $5 range. Mostly Jinhao. Been pretty satisfied overall. No bent nibs, except for the ones I keep dropping onto cement floors. Really got to get the hang of this whole opposable thumbs thing.

I've bought my last couple phones from aliexpress and didn't even really think about how they had a lot of other poo poo too. I'm going to have to do some shopping on there because I really dig inexpensive dropshipped goods and I'm pretty much never in a hurry to get a thing. I didn't get mine from here, but these motherfuckers are the best thing. I use them as potholders and also as lids for my eclectic collection of thrift store kitchenware. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Sil...2809997644.html
