My brother takes his daughter to the local megachurch because it has a basketball court and free childrens activities. They don’t seem as bad as Joel Osteen but it is still a megachurch, and kind of culty in that they focus on creating an environment that young children never want to leave. In middle school, i remember all the hardcore bands from the local high schools would play at the church’s activity center.
