Is there any way to practice with the guns in this game that is not "hope you find one and then die after firing it once?"

Le0 posted:How do you get so good at this game? Please teach me the ways of getting more than a lovely 1KD 1 kd is pretty good man a lot of goons can't even hit that. the key personally, was to always ask myself why I'm doing something. Why am I still looting, why am I fighting, why am I moving this way, why am I taking this startegy against an enemy, just always ask yourself why. If you can't answer that or the answer is something you know is bad, do something else. Or just play with friends to have fun because this is a bug infested game with 1 million banned hackers in a single month

Thanks for all these awesome suggestions on how to improve. The thing is that the clip particle9 will never EVER happen to me, I would be dead even before the clip started because everyone hears me from way far away and have insta kill railguns.Bleck posted:Is there any way to practice with the guns in this game that is not "hope you find one and then die after firing it once?" Joke aside, I think the only way to practice I found is to drop in hot places like school, military or Pochinki on Erangel and Pecado or Hacienda del Patron on Miramar. That way, if you are lucky and manage to get a gun quickly you have plenty of targets to train on.

New Zealand can eat me posted:You're definitely killing Premier League nerds too, there's a whole list of em here https://pubg.auzom.gg/scoreboard/apl2-na/ Yea actually one of our final dinners this season was off that Render Esports guy AdmiralxJZx teaming up with L2P_Lush. The other really good guy in our squad is actually getting scouted right now for teams. We will try to do Auzom in march but its tough when 3 of us are 30+ y/o with obligations. We're good buds with the team that is currently #1 in the open series. Smoked em a bunch in game too haha. If you want to learn how to shoot play battlefield or cs:go and get good enough to 1+ KD in those games and you will do fine in pubg. Most people can "shoot", they usually gently caress up by doing something dumb and getting pinched. Just gotta learn tactics and where to drop. In squads we drop North George or Yasnaya every game or car up to those spots, South Los Leones in Miramar or wherever on the plane path if its way out. Kill every team that lands with us or loot free and drive to center circle or close to it. Late circles if we havent gotten center we reverse push to clear our weakest side then push in towards gunfire or to a strong position in cover.

My KD is ~ 1 so I consider myself a scrub, but I found playing csgo DM either HS only mods or playing with a scout to be a good way of improving aim. In game, hot dropping is really fun but can be also very RNG loot dependent and can be frustrating to go a string of games being gunned down with just a sickle for company. In squads, the best way to improve is play with people who communicate and want to play as a team, even if their aim is trash and just work on things that you don't do well. I think pubg can be good viewing. Early game it's about strategic moves not first person viewing. I want to know how to teams are moving to cope with the circles. With the x2 AR rule set everyone should have a decent gun so watching the looting is pointless. Mid game has been compressed now so there's more action, so I'm interested in seeing the tactical play, probably in 3rd person overhead. The last couple of circles are exciting, usually, though I don't see the point in the 2 minutes standoff on the last circle - it should just slowly move in to force people out. I also think in competition they need to remove some of the RNG, e.g. on the movement on the last few circles basically determines the winner. Also, they need to play on Miramar.

Jerkface posted:South Los Leones in Miramar At the warehouses? That won't gear a full team enough will it? Where do you go after the first couple of minutes? Can you elaborate on what you call 'reverse push'? e: Concerning aim. It seems as though people trying to improve aim often think of it as only pure flicking/snapping ability, though not a bad thing to be a god at isn't the whole picture in my opinion. You can make the task of aiming a lot easier for yourself by having good movement as in utilizing proper positions, clearing angles properly and one at a time, being able to focus on one angle at a time by eliminating all others, peeking tightly, disengaging if you are not happy with your peek, good pre-aim and crosshair placement, so on and so forth. This will make it so you have to move your crosshair minimally since you are more or less already aiming where you have to and are ready to shoot when have little time to react. Hulebr00670065006e posted:At the warehouses? That won't gear a full team enough will it? Where do you go after the first couple of minutes? There is a spot just north east of water and to the south east of the mosque that has 3 "loot boxes" (those construction type buildings with the roof you can vault to), 1 warehouse, 2 blue bottom apartments, and 2 other buildings and some construction ramparts. We get a whole squad geared enough to fight from there and can push a lot of different directions depending on whats happening. Reverse pushing is like if youre in the circle at the next line or already in the next line and you want to continue moving in that direction. You first push in the opposite direction and clear out as much of the open zone as you can to stop teams from coming in behind before finally heading back to the original direction you intended to go. Basically pushing deeper towards blue to clear behind or other vulnerable side.

Reverse pushing works really well. You can get caught out by really late arrivals from the blue but that doesn't happen often.

Do level 3 vests even exist. I see backpack 3's often enough that it is routine, helmets are a nice surprise but not shocking, but I think I've seen a level 3 vest maybe 4 times ever.

My squad usually drops military when we play Erangel, usually at least one of us ends up with one, often times we have multiple level 3 vests.

I find a level 3 vest usually at the military base island. Sometimes the little houses that are just outside the fence of the base. Maybe every 5 games I find one.

I've found a few lvl3 vests the last couple of nights in random spots. They currently seem more common than lvl3 backpacks and way more common than the helmets.

I found one at the hospital along with a level 3 helmet. I think it's what let me win this: https://gfycat.com/TanCookedHoneybee Though, I'd previously taken that guy's health down to less than a quarter 3 times, once by hitting him with a nade that sent him flying down hill out of the zone. The guy was a trooper: https://gfycat.com/CharmingPeskyChinchilla

Make sure you're not mistaking them for level 1 backpacks. They look very similar on the ground if you're not paying attention.

^ Definitely this. Ever since I noticed how easy it was to miss silencers and scopes inside of clothes and bags, I made it a habit to "tab loot" to pull up the inventory and walk over the spawns instead of relying on visual checks. A level 3 helmet can also fit perfectly inside a level 1 helmet etc. It's tedious but when it pays off it's real nice

I watched one of the multicasts and it was surprisingly entertaining for the ten to fifteen minutes I watched. Gotta stop now but would watch again. Edit: Lots of teams are surviving until later making the final few circles absolute crazy houses. I can imagine that the flip side is the early game is when, as s spectator, you'd go and get a drink or take a piss or something
