My first cad experience was AutoCAD with no support, books, tutorials or internet access, that was painful. As a result I learnt the wrong way of doing 3d (draw in 2d, switch to a different angle and start pulling elements and wireframes like you're pitching an ancient broken tent one handed) I regularly use SketchUp for 3d house plans etc but started to learn Fusion as it seems to be the hot poo poo right now and I'd like my kids to know how to use it if needs be.

The issue I always had is that I simply never needed to use 3D CAD for anything, so I've never had to pick it up or even use Solidworks. It's only when I got my own 3D printer I needed to use it, so I got Fusion. Part of the problem is that the stuff I work with is fine in good old 3rd angle drawings.

I think that letting it all out before you get shut in a plane or are in a small room with a Dentist is probably best. I do think you probably need to start to reconsider your dietary choices though cakesmith handyman posted:My first cad experience was AutoCAD with no support, books, tutorials or internet access, that was painful. I learnt on 123d via tutorials and playing with it and am just about to start learning Fusion due to 123d's inconvenient death. 123d was very annoying once you get past doing extrusions/subtractions vertically from a 2d drawing. I hope fusion is better.

I use sketch up at work to do renders of offices and rooms and poo poo from architectural drawings they give me so we can spec out AV and IT fitouts with a better frame of reference. Should I be using something else for that or nah? I work at a university so licensing isn't a. Issue (seems to be a lot of experience ITT)

Yeah the acting was really bad. I clicked ahead and landed in the middle of a cliche scene with the boss cop yelling at his subordinates, the acting was so bad, but they were so into it trying to be serious that it was funny. Good poo poo

Or just learning well? Almost bought this earlier, but GF arrives tomorrow. She can't tolerate spicy stuff. However... I've been ripping rear end nonfuckingstop since I made this batch of beans. This stuff doesn't help. Also, note the instant pot being used behind the beans. Cooking 2 pounds of rump roast to use for barbacoa tacos while gf is here (we're both from the same hometown, so obviously we both love tacos). Should look about like my dinner the other night, except with a lot more meat.

I grew up on the border of Texas and New Mexico. You better loving believe I like tacos. I don't mean these kind of tacos. These are gringo tacos. They're okay sometimes, but they're not real tacos. I mean THESE kind of tacos Corn tortilla, meat, onions, cilantro, garnished with slices of radish and really good hot sauce. The real good places give you grilled onions and jalapenos with them. Or if you're really from The Pass, you know of Chico's. Which aren't really tacos, but they're loving amazing. Fluffy loves them too! There's a place locally that does a drat good knockoff, but they're an hour away. Worth it though. They've been on the Food Network, even. randomidiot fucked around with this message at 19:58 on Mar 1, 2018 |

When I stopped in El Paso last year for the night, even though I had been driving for 12 hours I still made the trek to Chicos. So loving good. Also gonna need that barbacoa recipe

iwentdoodie knows what's up My dad, for whatever reason, HATES Chico's. Every time I go there, the first thing he asks is where I want to go for dinner.... and before I can say Chico's, he has to add on "anywhere that's not Chico's". That's why every time I go visit, I drive the 10 hours instead of flying 2 1/2 hours - that way I don't have to sneak his car out after he goes to bed (at 8pm ) to go hit Chico's. And all the other awesome restaurants I grew up with (L&J Cafe, Kiki's, Pirco's, Charcoaler, etc) that he turns his nose up at. He didn't grow up there like I did, though - the Army stuck him out there sometime around 74 or 75, but he hasn't left. Just never developed much of a taste for Mexican food, I guess - he doesn't like Mexican that much (despite being married into the family that owns a chain of Mexican food restaurants in El Paso, and his wife/my stepmom being hispanic). My mom is equally gringo, but she grew up in El Paso, and thus has a very deep love for Mexican and New Mexican food. Funny thing is, my stepdad grew up in east Texas, moved to El Paso around 1981 (met my mom in 82 or 83 I think?), but loves Chico's. But at least he's from Texas; my dad was an Army brat, not born in TX, never saw TX until he got drafted. e: I'm ashamed to admit how I did the "barbacoa".... it's just a 2 pound rump roast with this stuff. It came out pretty tasty, but not authentic. I only went that route because Sprouts had it on sale for $1.77 + $2.99/lbs for rump roasts. I'm sure one of these cookbooks has something much better, but I was just going for something easy. It's enough for a couple of days worth of greasy tacos, anyway, and the meat shredded easily with a fork. The beans I made are much more El Paso like, and I'm going to fix a pot of caldillo this weekend (using the recipe from Seasoned with Sun - I've used it a few times, it's drat good and pretty close to what my mom makes... and I still have a couple of pounds of frozen Hatch chiles to use up). randomidiot fucked around with this message at 22:11 on Mar 1, 2018 |

I made 3lbs of this barbacoa recipe and when you burp after eating it, it's EXACTLY Chipotle's barbacoa. I subbed in canned peppers for dried peppers, and apple cider vinegar in place of coconut vinegar.
