Well don't hold out on us.

Also, look at this excellent boy. It's a shame that armor set is so low level since it's one of the best, but I guess palico armor levels don't really matter all that much.

Also also, gently caress tempered kirin. Kirin is such an awful monster. All the other elder dragons are fairly fun to fight, and Teostra is way easier in the wastes, but that stupid horse is just an annoying rear end in a top hat.

Yeah I stacked thunder resist gems and my armor at least wasn't terrible for it, and I wore the lightning mantle. The main issue was just I was getting hit by being too greedy with charge blade and I can't deal with him with slower weapons. Elderseal also didn't seem to be helping much, but my charge blade only has low elderseal. Think I'll just go back to my fire sword and shield since it's safer, but doesn't really make him less annoying.

They make no difference, actually! They'll just copy your defense, so dress em how you want.

Someone found out that if you go nuts with a max level Palico and max skill for the Palico booster, they can solo tempered elders in about 20mins and also will just tank 5-6 Tempered Teostra supernovas without needing to heal.

It's been a bit since I watched it so my memory is probably a bit fuzzy, but as i recall prince Schwan wanted to disband ACCA 13, which would have brought chaos. It was felt that ACCA had to be preserved in order to keep the country stable, and this is what Grossular wanted, but the only way that this seemed possible to ensure was to usurp the prince and replace him with someone loyal to ACCA (Jean Otus). This is what the "farce" in the last ep was about-it basically convinced Schwan to keep ACCA around, which was what the members of ACCA wanted. Grossular "knew" of Lilium's ulterior motives, but felt he had to go along with them to preserve ACCA. As far as "controlling" Jean Otus, it was more about how Lilium's district had the majority of the nation's resources, and basically the current rule nationalized those resources for the rest of the country, so it was about leveraging those resources against the rest of the country, should Jean not play nice with Lilium iirc. No blackmail or anything, just trying to get on his good side.

Thank you, that was really bothering me.

About six years ago I woke up one Saturday morning after sleeping on the couch, and discovered something had bitten me on the upper thigh while I slept. The area around the bite was red and irritated, but it was small, so I shrugged it off.

By Sunday, it had turned into a black looking thing, but still small. I decided to play it safe and get in to see my doctor first thing Monday morning.

I did see my doctor Monday morning. By Monday afternoon I was in emergency surgery to remove the... er, spoilered for those of squeamish stomachs bigger than a golf ball sized of infection inside my leg . Then I was kept in the hospital for four days while they threw every antibiotic they had into me, to find one that would work against the rest of the infection that was spreading through me.

They speculated it was a brown recluse spider that bit me, and told me if I had waited another day I would have lost my leg, and maybe my life.

I got rid of the couch (in case more were nesting in there).

Spiders are not my friends.

I need to watch it too! Maybe we should start a Haikyu stream!

I just spent a while today watching Geass with my buddy. We're nearing the end of the first season (episode... 24?) And I feel like everything has gone completely off the rails.

No less than five episodes ago I was on track to all it one of my favorite anime ever, but everything since Lelouch accidently uses his Geass to turn Euphy into a genocidal murderer has felt like cheap misery porn.

It's a shame, because I like most of the characters, but I'm reluctant to get invested when half the women in the cast feel like they only exist to get tragically hurt by Lelouch in one way or another.

As funny as this gif is, it kind of ruined the show for me.
Am I crazy?
Nah, that's about the point where Geass's writing goes off the rails. I still like R2, but the original plan was for Lelouch to intentionally Geass Euphy, but Lelouch was popular and Sunrise didn't want to jeopardize him being a protagonist for a Season 2, so you get all the weird writing at the end of S1 and the start of R2.

not sure on Sayoko, but orange was definitely a case of 'he became a meme so they worked him back into the show.' On the other hand that's the best part of R2, so swings and roundabouts.
