I started an ironman account because I'm dumb or something and now I have a bit of a hangup. It looks like the quest interface was updated at some point and now I'm not allowed to start fairy tale pt. 2 without having the skill reqs. I can't find anything about this online and I'd really like fairy ring access without grinding herb to 57.  I don't see a way to finish the convo with martin without this window popping up

They recently changed a lot of the old quests where you just started them without the requirements to finish them. Now you must have the requirements (or boost for them I think) to start them.

I was holding off on making a new Ironman for the smithing update but I got impatient. So I guess now I'm going to be a skiller/magic pure or something until the smithing update because I have no willpower and can't stay away from this poo poo game

You can still do most stuff the old way if you want. Go to Burthorpe or Lumbridge for a bunch of tutorial stuff on current gameplay, it'll be useful to a player returning after a long time.

Well, this sucks. Tried to log in a few days ago after not playing in god knows how long, turns out I "owed" Jagex $1500 in bonds. Got my account back today, my RS3 bank was cleaned :\ Still trying to process how this happened, though. The only RS website I ever browse is the wiki, I don't get ads on this computer, I had the authenticator on. I don't even know how botting works. It's really worrisome. I played RS3 before the bot purge because goons gave me the lowdown on which bots were best. If you bot in RS3 now you're going to get banned. OSRS is less good at detecting iirc

Odd. I don't even have a full set of rune, and I'm missing the couple pieces of dragon items that I had. I'd suspect that someone breached my account, but at the same time, I still have my gold, and its not like that would've been hard for anyone with access to my account to take... RIP my dragon hatchet and helmet and such.  Died of mysterious causes, probably years ago. Its been probably around a decade since I've last played.
