Wow there are some real stinkers and stretches in-between bonafide classics on that map. "Near Dark" "Badlands" and "Mr. Jingles?" Who could ever forget!? Also why is Close Encounters there? That's one of the happiest movies I've ever seen.

Near Dark is a drat fine film. But I assume that that is Indeed  and you are creating a humorous juxtaposition between two great and well regarded films and a third bad one as per the rule of threes.

Actually according to IMDB and other sites none of it was set or shot in Kansas at all.
